Today is day 9 of our wait for LOA/LSC. For those of you not adoption lingo savvy, we are waiting for our official letter from China, approving us to adopt Liya Faith! Once we get past that hurdle, we just need to wait for approval to travel and get our girl!
The wait for LOA varies widely. Some families are waiting more than 100 days, while others wait only a few weeks. The average seems to be aroun 80 days.
So, 9 down....and about 71 to go!!
I pray you only have 71 more to go. Our agonizing wait was 135 days and it was very painful knowing we needed our baby girl home. I have been seeing many waits be so much shorter lately which is great news. We are praying your LOA comes so very quickly!

ReplyDeleteI am just being extremely optimistic by saying 80 days. We know that there is no rhyme or reason to the wait length. So, for now we go with 80 days. 60 days from now, we will extend it to 100;) That way we don't get disappointed. Sorry you had such a long wait:(
